I was out riding my bike today and noticed something interesting. When I slightly shifted my eyes—just a tiny bit—toward the direction I wanted to go, my bike naturally followed. I didn’t have to turn the handlebar hard or make a big effort. That little movement was enough to start changing my direction.

It got me thinking about the whole “1% improvement” idea. We hear it all the time, but today I felt it in real life. It’s not about big changes or huge leaps. It’s the small shifts—the tiny habits, the subtle mindset tweaks—that eventually steer you to a completely different place.

Whether it’s learning something new, building a business, or just trying to be a better version of yourself, the small steps matter way more than we think. Most days it won’t feel like progress. But give it time, and those 1% changes add up.

Keep going. Even if it’s just a small shift today.
